Hi all. Just to add further to the comment from Weava Support yesterday, in order to give a more comprehensive and clear update.

We are saddened and equally frustrated by the delay of the release of our Android mobile app. And all we can say at this point is that we are sorry - but note that it is still on our backlog of implementations we will release, though we do not have a new set release date at the moment.

Let me further elaborate:
We had initially hired dedicated staff to attend to this and have it released earlier this year. Unfortunately, however, for various reasons, this did not properly commence - and we are in many ways back at the drawing board. We are a very small team that currently work tirelessly to do our best to offer you a solution that makes your research, learning and work as easy and efficient as possible. By serving over 500,000 users during these COVID-19 times, most whom are free users, our small team have had to focus on making our back-end code/servers/database more efficient to reduce substantial server costs, before we can more wholeheartedly focus on developing new features and solutions.

We realize that this is not the kind of update you were hoping for right now - and that it is frustrating to see our slow progress (and inaccurate updates) on this matter. And so again, we apologize for this.

While it may not be your desire - because you feel like we are missing a key feature (by not having the Android mobile application), I just wanted to say: please consider upgrading to Weava Premium to support our work, which ultimately will make it easier for us to expand our development team and improve faster and better.

You may also note that we are trying to support as many as possible during these COVID-19 times by offering a discount of 12 USD (1 USD per month) for an annual subscription of Weava Premium. Again, this is most certainly not the update you were hoping for, but we hope that this will explain a bit more - and we hope that you may try to be patient with us as we proceed with our work.

I have upgraded to premium. but feel disappointed that it's not supported for firefox. what a pity.

I understand that Jen, and duly noted.

As we do aspire to release an Android app, you could look at it from the angle of that supporting us could help us have more resources to release this earlier. BUT, of course, I perfectly understand your subscription decisions are based on "what is" and not "what will be".
